Myself and Brooks amongst a throng of SERIOUS local and nationwide talent that will be showcased at PURE GOLD’s gallery opening this saturday!!! I’ve seen some of the work and Pure Gold is definitely putting it down and filling a vast void in the art marketplace of Philadelphia. For me at least, the chasm that Lineage Gallery left when it moved to NYC has not been even close to being filled until PURE GOLD. Big big big ups to my main man Rob (and John and Dan of course) for putting this gallery together. Expect HUGE things to come from these guys! and the best part? they’re right across the piazza from THE FRESH MELT WATER SHOP! Let’s keep it in the family ya heard?!

The listening party was real chill everyone was just kickin it outdoors sippin beers and enjoying the weather. Tanya Morgan’s new album Brooklynati is real dope I was definitely feeling these guys as was everyone else in the house. Marie from Philly2night stopped by and snapped some shots of the event.
