Friday Oct. 2 will be the opening reception for the new Pure Gold Gallery show “FACE DOWN ON THE FLOOR:  SELECT WORKS BY ROB GOLDENBERG AND JOEY GOTHELF.”  It’ll go from 6-10 pm so stop thru and check it out.  The work is dope Rob and myself really put a lot into this show and we are real happy with the result.  Come thru and check it out.  Lots of fun gallery opening type things happening too of course!!  First friday at the piazza has lots of great art, come thru!!!

Baltimore based hip hop/jazz crew Soul Cannon opened for Mos and Kweli in Baltimore recently. They killed it and the crowd was really feelin it. They got them some FMW gear and they were rockin it proudly at the show lookin fresh to death!….big shout out to Soul Cannon for the love. Definitely gonna be seeing more of these guys.

The First Friday events around philly were documented on Philthy Blog this past week. It was a good night around The Piazza (where the Fresh Melt Water shop is located). It’s also a great opportunity to introduce Sedso Design (old friend’s Tom Foley and Jason Ganski’s graphic design firm). They do amazing work and you should go check out their blog to see some of it. And contact them if you need work done….also in the video is our freind Rob’s gallery PURE GOLD where the work of Nate Gertner took center stage for “Big Trouble in Little Toytown,” you gotta see it for yourself. Also Jinxed is now up in the Piazza with us and they had a dope show go down as well which was featured by Philthy. Big ups to Sedso, Pure Gold and Jinxed fam.
