By no means new (from 2009), graphic designer Logan Walters did redesigns all of the Wu Tang covers in the style of old Blue Note Jazz records (DOPE!) partially as a result of his OCD ways forcing him to produce good looking album artwork so his Itunes coverflow would look nice (i feel you Logan, tho i never took it to this extent, google image search usually satiated my need for quality itunes cover flowage).
no offense to the original designers, but as iconic as they might be they’re looking pretty dated these days. So, armed with inspiration from what Olly Moss and others are doing…and a book of Blue Note Records covers, I set out to remake all 21.
Dope concept. Logan also did the cover for “Return to the Magical Mystery Chambers” an AMAZING mashup of Wutang and the Beatles (not available for download anymore for kind of obvious copyright reasons).
